Commerce joins hands with manufacturers to fix prices of essential goods to alleviate the burden of people's cost of living

The Ministry of Commerce has discussed with large manufacturers and business operators to request cooperation in fixing the prices of consumer goods that are essential for people's living, especially fresh food and packaged goods, to alleviate the burden of rising living costs from the ongoing inflation. Although the law has not been enforced, most business operators have cooperated well, believing that it will help support people's purchasing power and build confidence in the economic system.
